A resident of Brooks since 2007, Dr. Jan Moolman received his medical degree in 2001 from the University of the Free State in South Africa.
Dr. Moolman received post- graduate training in both South Africa and London, England and he has practiced family medicine in Canada since 2007.
Dr. Moolman builds his relationships on kindness, respect and compassion. He recognizes the value of a holistic approach with a focus on both physical and psychological well-being.
His medical practice involves full scope rural family medicine. This includes a focus on disease prevention, management of acute and chronic health problems and hospital based work. Dr. Moolman has a special interest in emergency medicine and obstetrical care.
Dr. Moolman’s interests outside of work include a balance between family life, experiments in human endurance, bird watching and travel. Two of the more memorable experiments include R2R2R and Sinister7.
